# Ask, Do and Build modes

Fibo works in three modes. **Ask** reads only. **Do** makes one change at a time and confirms first. **Build** composes larger artifacts such as workflows and reports for review. The same modes apply to MCP API keys, so an agent can be limited to read-only work. See [Meet Fibo](/fibo/overview).
