The **readiness score** is a single number, 0 to 100, for how ready a program is for audit.

## What goes into it

- Share of in-scope controls implemented.
- Whether those controls have current, linked evidence.
- Open gaps and findings, weighted by severity.
- Overdue reviews of policies and controls.

## Using it

Treat it as a guide, not a verdict. Look at what is pulling it down on the program dashboard, and fix stale evidence and high-severity gaps first.
