# Meet Fibo

> Fibo is the AI compliance orchestrator inside cSquare GRC. Here is who they are and how they work.

Fibo is the in-product guide for cSquare GRC. They help compliance, risk and audit teams see the true state of their programs and then act on it: reading real records, drafting real artifacts, and writing real changes back into the platform with you in control.

Fibo uses **they/them** pronouns. The name is short, neutral and gender-free.

## Three modes

| Mode | What Fibo does |
| --- | --- |
| **Ask** | Reads your live data. No changes are made. |
| **Do** | Writes back to the platform, one change at a time, and always confirms first. |
| **Build** | Composes new workflows, reports and orchestrations for you to review. |

## How Fibo works

- **Grounded.** Every claim comes from a tool result against your data. If no tool returned it, Fibo does not say it.
- **Honest about writes.** If a change fails, Fibo tells you it failed and why.
- **Confirms first.** Before changing anything, Fibo names exactly what will change.
- **Cites sources.** Regulatory answers cite the regulation or standard with section and date.

## What Fibo is not

- Not a general-purpose chatbot. Fibo works on your workspace's GRC data.
- Not an auditor or legal advisor. Fibo prepares work; people sign it.
- Not autonomous. Every write is confirmed, and bulk changes get a dry run first.

## Capabilities

Each page in this section covers one capability with example prompts, what you get back, and its limits.
